Arm Lift
Procedure
The goal here is the reduction of arm size resulting in a round tapering shape.
Results
The procedure results in a tapered conical shape and a hidden scar, which becomes evident after 6 weeks.

Complications
Scar widening is not uncommon, thus scar revision after 6 months may be necessary.
Recovery
A scar that is hidden in the medial aspect of the arm is planned. Wearing a compression garment is extremely helpful. Sutures are intra dermal and resorb after few months.
Anesthesia
General or local with sedation.
- Can I have liposuction only?
- Can the scar be hidden in the axilla only?
- Will laser scar treatment help reduce the scars?
If skin tone is good, and the planned fat volume aspirate is small, liposuction that leaves imperceptible scars is preferable to lift.
Axillary arm lift leaves excellent scars but unfortunately do-little improvement in the arms especially towards the elbows. It is not suited to the majority of people.
Injection and laser management of the scars significantly improve the ultimate scar shape.
