Procedure

This disease causes the fingers to be fixed in flexion. The ability to complete extension is curtailed. Releasing  those  contractures estores hand and digit motion.

Results

Will take weeks to months to finalize.

To restore the ability and movement of the fingers.

Complications

Poor healing, joint stiffness and recurrent contractures are rare problems.

Recovery

Due to chronic nature of this disease, the post operative recovery takes weeks to months, requires dedicated therapy and adjunct treatments aimed at promoting healing.
